Vegan Mac n Cheese Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Macaroni (500g)
  • Cashew nuts (200g)
  • Soy milk (300ml)
  • Onion (½)
  • Yeast flakes (7 Tablespoons)
  • Garlic Cloves (2)
  • Soy Sauce (3 Tablespoons)
  • Paprika Powder (2 Tablespoons)
  • Pepper (Pinch)

Preparation

Start cooking the macaroni until it’s al dente (15 minutes).

Meanwhile, mix the remaining ingredients well in a high capacity blender until you get a creamy sauce.

As soon as the macaroni is al dente (15 minutes), immediately mix the cheese sauce with it (and optionally sprinkle additional yeast flakes on top).

Additional Notes:

  • The creamy consistency of the cheese sauce is best achieved with a high-performance blender. If you don’t have one yet – a high-performance blender is very useful for so many recipes!
